Opinion Of Apple's Board Of Directors On The Death Of Steve Jobs

Steven Paul Jobs was 56. He died today after publicly fighting advanced pancreatic cancer since 2004. He, along with co-founder Steve Wozniak, built one of the most “commercially successful” personal computers and founded Pixar animation studios.

The Apple Board of Directors wrote:

We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.

Apple IPhone 4S / 5 Voice: What Is Right Or Wrong And just Crazy

The rumors and speculation ran before Apple announced the event and in most cases the product can not stand the hype. It 'is essentially what happened today. Apple iPhone rumors mill promised five glasses killer, a huge screen, nothing less than the built-in teleportation device. We got the iPhone instead of 4S.

This was what the interwebs right and wrong.

Right Voices

Extended voice control

It's called Siri. Apple seems to them a voice control is mostly after the paradigm of a personal computer. Android users crying foul, but due to their choice of mobile operating system has long shown a similar activity. It would not be surprised to see Microsoft fans will make some comment, such as Mango is large enough voice control functionality as well.

Dual-mode GSM / CDMA radio

Apple solved this problem must have been a supply chain frustrating and used a dual-mode GSM / CDMA radio for the iPhone 4S. This makes it possible for Apple to make, distribute and sell a model. Trust me it probably was not an easy construction of multiple antennas for iPhone 4S small frame.

The next iPhone will be driven by the processor A5

Apple launched the A5 dual-core processor with the iPhone 2. Now is the heart of 4S iPhone where you can share tasks twice as fast CPU and graphics seven times faster. Angry bird never be the same.

Sprint Go All-in IPhone 5?

The reports from Wall Street Journal says Sprint has taken a huge risk by making the iPhone, ifare. Details of Sprint and Apple's peaceful relations are beginning to come out, and if it is true, the country's third mobile operator is locked in the state uncertain.

CEO Dan Hesse said Sprint reported that the Council Nab the iPhone, at least 30.5 million iPhones to be bought in the next four years. It is not a huge investment - WSJ pickets around $ 20 billion at the current rate - but it is compounded by the fact that Sprint has locked in the purchase contract, regardless of whether the iPhone actually sold. The government was said to have accepted Apple's terms.

It has a lot of units to move, for sure, but not entirely impossible. In particular, a subset of Sprint customers have been vocal Cupertino taste of the limelight for years, not to mention that Sprint's commitment to offer unlimited data make it an attractive alternative to existing iPhone users looking for more bang for their buck.

Apple To Battle The Piracy iOS Implementation Of Rent?

If prudence compatibility or lack of quality of disposable income, or a protest discreet, people will always find a justification for a pirate things. Of course, many of these arguments tend to be secondary to understand that, not paying Stuff, pay for things - but hey, I can not pretend to be any kind of moral position here.

In the scene iOS piracy, it seems that the reasons most often cited for something like "There's too much crap on the App Store! How will I know if an application is any good before I pay a whole dollar for it? I'm not hacking, I'm trying! "

Well, fans Installous, it looks like you will soon find a new bit of logic to ease your conscience. Based on a couple of strings stored in the latest beta of iTunes, Apple seems to be crackin 'away on a way for users to give iOS apps for a walk, before paying the full price, no-jailbreak required.

Unearthed by Twitter and practice of self-named Sonny Dickson IOS Hacker, new channels appear to refer to applications that have a "rental period" and are automatically deleted after that period is dry.

An iPhone 5?

Rumours have been circulating for months about the impending release of Apple’s iPhone 5. Some thought it was to be announced shortly before Christmas 2010, others thought that Steve Jobs and the rest would hold off in order to milk sales of the iPhone 4, and instead announce the new handset in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote as they have done in years previous. However the 10th June came and went without an announcement of the ever-anticipated iPhone 5. So where does that leave the legions of enthusiasts salivating for the newest Apple toy?

Recently an anonymous source from Apple leaked information that the iPhone 5 could be available before the summer is out. This same source has said that the mobile will include an 8 megapixel camera and an imbedded SIM Card, much to the dismay of phone retailers around the UK. According to the report, it will also include a slick ARM Cortex-A9 processor, quite a big upgrade from the current processing chip in the iPhone 4.
