Australian iPhone Line Crashed by Samsung With $2 Galaxy S IIs

Do not ever say that the Samsung does not know how to pull a good publicity stunt. Samsung has set up shop just two doors to the Sydney Apple Store (and growing iPhone 4S line) and sell their laptop Galaxy S II low of $2 tip.

There is a catch

Samsung to sell their phones ridiculous price to the first ten people at the door every morning. As you can imagine, this caused quite a few fans and bargain hunters from Android to align in front of the pop-up shop, hoping to score some excellent material for cheap. Their motives are mixed: AOME desperately need to upgrade their device in trouble, while others seek to sell their GSIIs to get some much needed money.

Imagine that having two diametrically opposed lines so close to each other might be a bit risky, but what we see so far is a nice little ribs. See? Users of Android and iPhone fans may be able to coexist peacefully, after all.

Given Samsung and Apple controversial relationship in Australia, it's not exactly a surprise to see Samsung trying to steal some thunder from Apple. Pop-up store is definitely like a hit-and-run sort of operation, as Samsung has apparently no intention to keep the store open by Friday. Yet credit where credit is due, Samsung has some audacity to pull a move like that.
